Put your product in front of Tesla owners

Tesla North America Guide (tslna.com) covers one thing: buying and owning a Tesla in the US and Canada. The people reading it either already drive one or are seriously thinking about ordering. If your product or service is built for Tesla owners, this is your audience.

Why advertise here

Focused audience

Owners and soon-to-be owners

No general car news, no celebrity gossip. Every article answers a specific question a Tesla owner or buyer has: which model, when to buy, winter range, home charging, insurance costs, which accessories are worth it.

High intent

Readers arrive ready to spend

Most readers find the site by searching for something specific, like how a referral code works, which home charger to get or which winter tires fit. They’re in the middle of a buying decision, not idly scrolling.

Proven conversions

Articles here move people to buy

By my rough count, hundreds of readers have ended up buying a Tesla after reading what I write here, and in a typical month that’s about 10 to 20 new owners.

First-hand

Written by an owner, for owners

I’ve driven my own Model Y for four years and work on cars in a repair shop in my spare time. Sponsored pieces are written by me too, tested hands-on wherever possible, so readers get a real experience, not a rewritten press release.

US & Canada

Two languages, two audiences

The Chinese site reaches Chinese-speaking Tesla owners across the US and Canada, a group most English-language outlets can’t reach. The English site at /en/ covers English-speaking readers in both countries. One campaign can run in both.

Long shelf life

Found in search for years

Articles are written around what people search for, so they keep bringing in readers long after they go live, and I update them when prices or policies change. It’s not a social post that sinks after a day.

What fits

Anything related to Tesla or the Tesla ecosystem is open for discussion, for example:

  • Tesla accessories: interior upgrades, floor mats, screen mounts, storage, car covers, PPF and window film
  • Charging: home chargers, portable chargers, adapters, installation services
  • Tires, wheels, alignment, modifications, and body and paint services
  • Insurance, auto loans and leasing
  • Solar, home batteries and home energy setups that pair with an EV
  • Road trips, in-car internet, camping gear and other EV-lifestyle products

Whatever the budget, I don’t accept:

  • Products unrelated to Tesla
  • Products that could compromise driving or personal safety, such as steering wheel weights used to defeat Autopilot or FSD driver monitoring
  • Products that break US or Canadian laws or regulations, such as radar detectors (banned in Ontario, Quebec and several other provinces), counterfeits and uncertified charging equipment
  • Financial or insurance services that aren’t licensed or registered where they’re sold

Formats

Sponsored article

A full article built around your product or service, tested hands-on where possible, in English, Chinese or both.

In-article placement

Your product and link added to a relevant, high-traffic article or topic hub, such as a home charger in the charging guide.

Display placement

A monthly placement on the homepage, sidebar or top of articles, for brands that want ongoing visibility.

We can work out the right format or mix based on your target market and budget.

Ground rules

  • Every request is reviewed. I look at the product and the brand first. If it isn’t a fit, I’ll say so rather than take the money.
  • Safe and legal. Products must not be harmful and must comply with US and Canadian laws and regulations. Advertisers are responsible for making sure their product and claims are truthful and lawful. If a product later turns out to have safety or legal problems, I’ll take the content down at any time.
  • Clearly labeled. All sponsored content is labeled as sponsored at the top, and links carry rel=”sponsored”, in line with US and Canadian disclosure rules for paid content.
  • Honest coverage. You’re paying for exposure and my time, not a good review. If testing turns up a problem, I’ll say so.
  • US$2,000 minimum budget. Evaluating a request, writing the piece, revising it and following up afterwards all take real working hours, and a smaller budget simply doesn’t cover that cost.

How it works

  1. Email [email protected] with a short intro to your brand and product, your target market (US, Canada, English or Chinese), a budget range and your timeline.
  2. I’ll reply within one or two business days to say whether it’s a fit and which format I’d suggest.
  3. Once we agree on the plan and price, send a sample or a trial account if the piece involves testing.
  4. I write it and publish on the agreed date, labeled as sponsored.
  5. You get the link once it’s live, and I keep the piece current if prices or policies in it change.
